Job Title: Research Analyst – Central Europe/Political Economy
Reports to: Director of Research/Executive Director

SUMMARY: Conduct research and write on current issues pertaining to business and economic developments and the political economy of reform in Central Europe.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research and Writing
• Develop in-house expertise on Central European economic issues.
• Author backgrounders, studies, policy memos, and opinion-editorials.
• Assist in research, writing, and editing for team projects in other areas.
• Coordinate research with outside scholars as assigned.

• External Affairs Assistance
• Make broadcast media appearances if necessary; attend/speak at policy conferences when needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with scholars, think-tanks, and government officials.

COMPENSATION: Competitive, health benefits, 403(b)

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:  Post-graduate degree required with minimum 2 years’ background in think-tank community or equivalent experience.
