Peter B. Doran

Peter B. Doran is an analyst and writer specializing in Russian and East European affairs. He holds a Master's Degree from Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service in the Center for Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies. Previously he worked as a program associate at the Jamestown Foundation and as an East-Central Europe analyst at Freedom House. He has also served as a Foreign Affairs Fellow in the U.S. Congress and as a William H. Donner Fellow at the Organization of American States. His current research focus includes the dynamics of energy, security, emerging markets, and state formation in Eurasia.
