Zachary F. Wynne
Zachary F. Wynne is a CEPA Associate Scholar and former Research Analyst.
Wynne holds a Master's Degree in German and European Studies from Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and the BMW Center for German and European Studies. He holds Bachelor's Degrees in International Affairs and German Language and Literature from The George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs. He has also studied at Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary and the Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany.
Before joining the CEPA team, Wynne worked on a variety of research projects in Europe at such organizations as The Institute for Transitional Democracy and International Security in Budapest, the Free University of Berlin, and the Office of the Shadow Foreign Secretary in the British Parliament, London. He is fluent in English and German, and is conversant in Dutch, Hungarian, Serbian/Croatian and Czech. Wynne's research interests include domestic political development in Central Europe, nationalism in European geopolitics, regional European integration, and democratization in the Balkans.
