A. Wess Mitchell is President and Co-Founder of the Center for European Policy Analysis, where he leads in the strategic development of the institute. He is a regular contributor to U.S. and European newspapers and journals and makes frequent appearances in major print and broadcast media outlets. His interests include Central European geopolitics, NATO and the U.S.-EU-Russia triangle. In forming CEPA, he has sought to place the study of East-Central European affairs within the broader context of U.S. global interests and strategy. He holds a Master’s Degree in German and European Studies from Georgetown University and is completing his doctoral dissertation for a Ph.D. in political science at Freie University Berlin.
