CEPA Salon at the Hungarian Embassy
The third CEPA Salon was held in cooperation with the Hungarian Embassy in Washington, D.C on the evening of May 31. The discussion featured insights from host H.E. László Szabó, Ambassador of Hungary, CEPA Associate Scholar Margarita Assenova, and U.S. State Department Bill Silkworth on Nord Stream 2 and the future of transatlantic energy security. The conversation was moderated by CEPA President Peter B. Doran.
Each month, the CEPA Salon visits a different European Embassy. These salon-styled discussions offer an opportunity to learn about Europe’s perspectives and challenges through the lens of U.S. legislative and foreign policy priorities. During this informal evening session, participants exchange views and network with leading experts and diplomats.
