It was once a beacon of reform and a bastion of resistance to Russian revanchism in the South Caucasus and the former Soviet Union.

But today, the words that are most associated with the Republic of Georgia are democratic backsliding and creeping Russian influence. And these two things are not unrelated. We've all got Georgia on our minds.

Listen to Episode 58 of the Power Vertical Podcast as
Brian Whitmore and Donald N. Jensen sit down with David Sikharulidze, a former Ambassador of Georgia to the United States and former Defense Minister, along with Batu Kutelia, a former Ambassador of Georgia to the United States and former Deputy Secretary of Georgia’s National Security Council.
