CEPA Thanks Dr. A. Wess Mitchell for a Tremendous Contribution to Transatlanticism

Dr. A. Wess Mitchell's tenure as Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs was marked by a strong commitment to the values that define CEPA's mission. Mitchell, who co-founded CEPA and served as President and CEO before joining the U.S. Department of State, will be departing public service on February 15 after shaping U.S. policy as a strong advocate for Transatlanticism and a Europe whole, free, and at peace.

“Wess served the United States with tireless distinction. He has made a tremendous contribution,” said CEPA President and CEO Peter B. Doran. “Americans and Europeans alike are deeply thankful for the great work that he has accomplished.”

The entire team at CEPA is proud of his service.
