Having a hostile neighbor causes you to be vigilant. Being close to a threat focuses your mind. And being a small country forces you to be resourceful and innovative.

Perhaps nowhere are these things more evident than in the Baltic states. Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia have all turned vulnerability into a virtue—and have become leaders in resisting Russian revanchism, aggression, and malign influence.

We can all learn a lot from them. So, let's learn.

Joining
Brian Whitmore for a special episode of the Power Vertical podcast are guests Linas Linkevičius, Lithuania's foreign minister, and CEPA President Peter B. Doran.
