Vesselina Pentcheva

Title VIII CEE Area Studies Fellow

Vesselina Pentcheva is a Title VIII CEE Area Studies Fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis. She comes to CEPA with four years of professional experience working in digital data analytics. Her professional interests include financial markets and investing in emerging markets, the impact of foreign direct investment on economic development, and the future of transatlantic relations. During her fellowship, she will be researching the impact of Chinese investment in Central and Eastern Europe on EU and U.S. foreign policy. She will be graduating with a Master of Arts from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in May 2018.
